Okay, so far my favourite video of this week: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0tU3Hy7et8.
Flying over mountains with a wingsuit on. This is what normal people only dream off.

It was posted on YouTube over a year ago, but I hadn't seen it before. Excuse me if this is old stuff for you.

Wow, for the past hour or so I've been watching some really nice videos thanks to everyone here.

I find it helpful when people give a short explanation of what the video they're posting is about. That way I can decide whether I want to click the link.

This one I really like. It's a Harry Potter puppet rhythmical.
Potter Puppet Pals in "The Mysterious Ticking Noise"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tx1XIm6q4r4

Oh, and about the video that introduces "the book" which was posted by Jaap: Here's something called "The B.O.O.K. Exciting new technology!" - not a video though.

I love the Lego stopmotion videos of forrestfire, that kid is a genius. His Star Wars vids are the best.
You also have to check out Vaders personal day.
There are also some cool batman ones but Stop motion Lego Star Wars is just too great.

It's good you posted this on the third page. I saw this topic just today so I didn't read most of it.
I would have had to check if you maybe posted the top ten here, because I would have posted it for you and send you a pm or something if you hadn't. :)
But I just right away saw it on page three so now it's all good.^^

I've just discovered Kutiman. He mixes unrelated YouTube videos into excellent songs.
Check it out! I think it's highly original. I especially like number 3 'I'm New' and number 7 'Just A Lady'.

That was not a Rick Roll, that was a Rick Rock! Excellent, with superb timing.
(and the contrast between the two songs' appearances is striking).

Not my favourite YouTube video, but it reminds me so much of a twisty puzzle I just had to post this one.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyrGi68XU-U

Of course, if you take this idea and turn it into a proper puzzle, you'd end up with Oskar's Caution Cube.

In our increasingly mollycoddling world this years Gloucestershire cheese rolling event has been cancelled. The event is one of those bizarre British traditions which has been going for more than two hundred years.

Another bizarre British tradition is the Ottery St. Mary's Tar Barrels http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fq6Xes2 ... re=related

We're much more sensible and civilised here in Cornwall. We burn witches instead.

the Gorillaz (one of my favorite 'bands' has recently published a new album (most likely their last). Everyone of course knows of their videoclips with the animated cartoonfigures who are the bandmembers. Their newest clip, from the song Stylo is the most popular debute videoclip on youtube ever, with over 900.000 views on the first day and over 2 million in the first week.

But I don't like it half as much as the OK GO video

Never seen that before. The way the UK is going I am amazed it's allowed for adults let alone kids.

Apparently it's still going ahead this year, despite someone throwing an aerosol can into a barrel last year.

The exploding tar barrel is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQfdeh1mz_s

I believe some of you may enjoy this video by the Japanese mathematician Kokichi Sugihara, the winner of "Best Illusion 2010":

More information about his work on creating "impossible" 3D solids, can be found in the video on this site:
