So tell me what it is supposed to do! I haven't a clue. Unless it is just a thing to click, I can't see a purpose for it.

I got my hungarian rings today. I lubed it with jig-a-loo and a chemical reaction started taking place. The blue and red paint got everywhere! I guess that is why it says "good with most plastics.

It's pretty much just a thing to click. You can make some fun shapes, but that's all.

Try getting it into a ball like shape? If you have a few, you can pop them apart and add a couple together? I don't really know what else to do with it.

Two packages today. One from Hong Kong (Rox) and one from the States (Taylor).
The Axis Cube is wonderfully made, the Curvy Mastermorphix is wonderfully made,
the mini 3x3x3 is a nice addition to my collection, too.

Just received my shade shifting jewel from Shua. You can tell the colors apart very well when they are all on the same plane, but that only happens on the top center:

Otherwise, it isn't easy...

At first, I thought only the center was stickered. Those shade-shifting vinyl sheets are more deceptive than I imagined.

Nope, I just angled it very carefully for the first picture. Mostly they look like a sparkly grey from the wrong angle. Indeed they are deceptive

One question for all : What material did use Mr. Braun and Constantion for extended parts of Skewb Octahedron? I was quite surprised.

Mine was waiting for me when I got home tonight. I am very, very excited!! I was really worried that I was going to miss out on the gold version, which was the one I really wanted.

It came originally in a plastic container (see my example below)

I'm having very mixed feelings at the moment. My black golden cube has just arrived and it's a great puzzle.

On the other hand, the puzzle was here on Wednesday, but the customs office sent me a letter asking to see the receipt. Today, I had to pay 6.40€ for the taxes (which is ok, I expected that) and an extra 4.25€ for the letter they sent me, and that makes me mad. :evil:

I don't know why they needed to see the receipt since one was already included in the package.

To top things off, I received a similar letter for the other package I ordered off Mefferts a week after the golden cube. So I can expect to pay another 11.60€ before I can get it. Apparently I can't order anything over the price of 30$ from Mefferts without paying a fortune. This is a disaster since all of Meffert's newer puzzles seem to be going for $42

GOAL ! You have very good memory Kastmom. It's true, the parts are from soft wood. I wanted to solve the octahedron and one apex fell away. So I discovered it. Now is the octahedron in good order again.

Georges, I won this Taiwan made Popeye cube without the plastic container. I have never seen this puzzle in the container. Thanks for the pic.

I just got my floppy cube. I love the design however it seems that the center caps bend outward on the edges while turning the puzzle. my concern is, the more I use it will the cap eventually be permanently bent?

drew: that's just the nature of the design. I can't imagine it would become permanently bent from very short periods of flexing, so i would venture to say it'll be fine.

That's the reflection of light off of the hand built Bump Cube mirror sticker. Since the Circle cube is built from laser cut plates of acrylic (my tiny contribution to the project) the surface is actually quite a bit more flat and smooth than most cast puzzles.

Georges: I think that's the only boxed pillowed cube/million space shuttle i've ever seen. And it appears to be in magnificent condition!

I'm continually amazed by the awesome puzzles i see in this thread. Also helps to know where all the members' puzzles are going, just to see how they're all spread out.

One of the joys of living in HK is that many sellers won't send puzzles to me. So they all get sent off to the states and every couple weeks or so I get a nice box of goodies!

For your viewing pleasure, todays box. Some rare, some not so rare. Lots or puzzle currency as the good dr. would say.

Lots of cleaning and solving for me to do now!
