Looks like something new over at the 3D construction studio, the "Growntower." While not an entirely new idea, it's nice to see such a clean realization of this puzzle.

I am a bit confused about the way the center extension cube works though. While it seems pretty clear that the outermost layers rotate, it isn't clear if they can rotate if the center extension is in place. Seems like an odd assumption but I'm going by the illustrative arrows in the picture gallery for the puzzle.

I can't believe it! He must be putting the new items the day after I usually check his site.
Looks nice, though I still can't understand: if the centre piece is not rotatable, how can the whole side go round?...
It would be great of you, Ton to shed the light for us.
By the way, Ton, have you got all of his creations?

The site is in Japanese so pretty much unreadable without a strong grasp of Kanji or altavista's babelfish. Just scroll down and look for the links on "Products" 1, 2, and 3. Products 3 has the newest and most radical stuff.

Beautiful! Looks like Tony Fisher has the jump on this one by a few weeks.

I would like to have them all, I have most of them, the one he can produce now.

He makes great cube, but it takes a long time to make them, this is why the prices are that high.
