Actually I think that the colors are correct. It looks to me that it's blue opposite white, and green opposite yellow. The pattern is just a checkerboard pattern with a flower pattern on top. If you were to put the flower patern back, it would just be a normal checkerboard.

Yesterday zapped by an episode of 'everybody hates chris', where chris's brother(I don't know his name, I saw the series for the first time) get's a rubik's cube pressed in his hands by an older man who says: 'This thing is pure evil, it's driving me crazy, I have to get rid of it!'. Chris's brother is playing with it the rest of the episode, and when he's doing it at dinner his mom says: 'Either no cube or no food!', and he chose the cube(I believe many people recognise this). At the end of the episode, he himself says: 'This thing is pure evil, it's driving me crazy, I have to get rid of it!' and presses it into a girls hands. The girl says: 'I know, I struggled weeks trying to solve it but it never happened...' and they hook up all of a sudden... The reason I typed this all out is because I don't have a clip or video to show it...

Check out 2:28 through 2:31 of this Twilight remix video. To any teen girls on this forum: OMG!!!! Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart should like *totally* date! For the rest of the members: Endure two and a half minutes (if you dare) and you will be rewarded by an interesting video/cube effect. Dave P.S. This my first (and should prudently be my last) time typing the text "To any teen girls on this forum:". To any FBI agents: Please read the entire message and look at the context before arresting me

I am not sure if this one really counts, but as I was browsing one of my favorite websites, I found that they had featured the V-Cube 7 in an article of theirs. For those who would like to read it, the article is located here.

Yes, I hate when people do cube things that aren't solvable. I can understand if by chance the position isn't solvable because of a flipped edge or rotated corner or something but stupid mistakes such as 2 centers the same color, same color twice on an edge or corner, etc. are, well, stupid. Would it really have killed them to go buy a cube for a dollar, mix it up, and use that? I'm not sure if it's already been posted, but there is a rubik's cube themed clock ( here). One of my relatives got me one for christmas. The top layer rotates to switch between displaying the time, alarm, date, and temperature (which displays in both fahrenheit and celsius). But as you can plainly see, it's not even close to being in a solvable state.

People who produce this stuff are probably just in it for the money. Still, it was the perfect gift and I love that the top layer rotates. No snooze though. I was going to post it, but it had already been a subject before: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9214&p=110388&hilit=alarm+clock#p110388Celia

Slightly different version: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.13949 . Bigger screen, but is a 3x3x4. The two you guys posted are slightly different from each other, but only in stickering. Note to self: add the rubik-themed clock to my list of DX twistypuzzles. Celia: You celebrate St Nicholas' day all the way in Berlin? I thought that as far as Germany was concerned that was mostly a habit of the West.

I grew up in Western Germany. But I had never heard that Eastern Germans didn't celebrate St. Nicholas' day. So I asked a friend who grew up in Eastern Berlin. She said they have always celebrated it and she can't come up with an idea why anyone would think they didn't. Maybe you would think that because fewer people in Eastern Germany are religious? It's a habit none the less. Celia

Has anyone seen the new Time Warner Cable commercial? It starts with, "Are you puzzled about..." (then something about tv), and it has a TWC colored Rubik's Cube turning.

This first picture is a screen shot of Michael Scott, played by Steve Carell, of "The Office(US)" playing with a Rubik's Cube. This is from the episode, "The Duel", which originally aired on January 15, 2009. Attachment:
