I think is something we really need. It could be at the top of the forums to insure that new members read it. And they could ask any questions they had here instead of in unfitting topics. :P Just a suggestion. This could also be a section where users could post their own articles, since it seems people can't add their own writing to the articles section right now? I realize that this forum is similar to that, but it doesn't seem like many people use this forum to ask for help.

Yes, I don't think we need even more subforums. If a newbie has questions they can post in the Quick Questions thread.

The hobby is certainly growing, and with it the member applications and age ranges.

Rather than a new subforum which segregates, some gentle guidance by others can help younger members get a better feel for the community etiquette.

The forum can sometimes be used as a chatroom and I'm keeping an eye on that.

Remember you can always PM myself or Jin if things get a bit much, and also don't forget the "Report Post" button.

I agree. I think there are too many as it is already.

newb posts and topics doesnt bother me at all..
but I think, if I was a newcomer, I would love to go to a subforum to talk to other newcomers. and not be so affraid to ask stupid questions, as I were in the beginning.
"use the search button dickface!!"
