That is too funny. Assuming $10 covers the round trip shipping, it would be cheaper to throw the unsolved cube in the garbage and head down to the local game store to buy a new cube.

I guess it's worth a try. Maybe the guy is a crook, trying to rip people off twice by getting people to pay him to steal their cubes!

I've sold custom puzzles on eBay before. I plan on doing it in the future as well occasionally. All I have to say is, eBay is a fickle mistress.

he probably acadentally popped apart a 3x3x3 cube and thought he had something! So my guess is if he gets a 2x2x2 cube he will pop it apart and not be able to put it together and then he will have to buy a new one

Back around 1980 someone ran an advertisement in the Washington Post newspaper saying they would solve your cube for $2. I guess you were to take it to his house. I wish I clipped the add but I didn't. I admired his enterprise and creativity.

Heh, I thought about offering a puzzle solving service on eBay once. Only, I would solve any puzzle you sent me. Some may take much longer than others...but the solution is always findable and some people would prefer to spend money than look for it themselves. :shrug:
