My idea is to have like, an online chat room, so that when people join, they can instant message, instead of PM or wait for a reply on a topic.

The main idea behind that, I think, is to have one big chat room, where everyone could be on it at once. I am purposing one that you have to send an invitation, and then it starts an instant messaging. Plus if you want to, you could invite someone to the same chat, and make it sort of like a smaller chat room. This also may be asking too much programming, but a subsystem that saves your last conversation, so if a really good question was asked, a moderator can see it, and post it.
