I really think that sausage needs to reconsider his decision to ban Thom, Pembo, Ethan Rosen, Siraj A, Speedy Mcfastfast, Rae, lostsofsloths, blade740, and Kingkoopa. In my opinion, it should be partially a community decision about this.
I really like this forum, mostly because the community here is very tight knit and generally very friendly, and I think it is sad to see any member be banned. Especially those with no former record of bad behavior, like Ethan and Siraj.
This is not an attempt to overthrow sausage's decision here. I just want the communities opinions be known in an anonymous poll.
Thanks

What about making an option to only have some of the members re-admitted, because some people feel that way

I didn't specify which bans in the poll.

There's an expression: asking for something once is a request, asking twice is a reminder, but asking three or more times may well be coercion.
At the point that sausage said that he wanted the signatures changed it was evident that he was aware of their wishes. By refusing to remove the request it became a demand, and the posters made it clear that they were pressuring him to change.
I don't know about you, but where I come from you don't tell someone what to do in his own house.

Of course he should reconsider, but that does not mean he is wrong. He should reconsider because this isn't something that should be considered only once. It deserves reflection. If upon reconsideration he concludes that the decision was right then it should stand. If upon reconsideration he concludes that it was wrong the ban should be lifted.

Can those of you who don't know exactly what happened please stop posting as if you do? I'll kill some rumors I've seen around this forum right now.
-The bans had nothing to do with flaming rubo -Thom didn't cause a disturbance -There was no resistance, only Pembo had actually been able to reply before the bans -Ethan wants the # back in his signature

Bans should always be reconsidered. Especially when the ban is the result of a user being immature. But attempting to bend a moderators arm... I'd hate to see people complain about the white-space characters that were removed. Tim.

Here's what I know, basically. Thom was banned by sausage for something that I don't know about. Pembo was upset, and he changed his signature and asked that someone else do the same. sausage asked Pembo and the other to change their signature back, and they did not. Someone sent out pm/emails to ask others to change their signatures. Some people changed their signatures, some people didnt. As a reslut, multiple members were banned.
Here is what I think. Thom was banned.-Can't do much about that Pembo and the other were banned.-Still, can't do much. The signature changers were banned.-Should be reconcidered The non-signature people were banned.-Begs reconcideration, for they did nothing wrong. I think sausage just jumped the gun on this one

I agree with you wholeheartedly. I didn't realize that this issue was still being debated.
