Guys (and ladies), now that I'm settled in now, I'm contacting various chemcal companies around the UK/Ireland region trying to build up my plastics lab again.

Now that I managed to build perfect replicas of the Magic Octahedron, I want to go ahead and reproduce a few Dominoes.

The Octahedron project with Richard was very successful. He sent me his disassembled octahedron from across the country, I duplicated it, and sent him back his puzzle (obviously) plus a duplicate, and heaps of replacement parts and prototyping bits and pieces.

If anyone with a Domino would like to help out, let me know.

Check out Rubik's original Domino patent for an alternate mechanism that you may find easier to build.

I have Domino with different mechanism. But the one with split axes seems easier to duplicate. Wayne knows he can get mine, but he don't want it

Thanks, guys. Yes, someone has offered me a dissassembled domino in that patent. So once all the gear arrives, I'll set to work on it.

Wayne, for those of us who'd love to be on a waiting list for replicated Dominos, how can we help your production?

I actually have all I need now once the parts arrive, but you can work out what you might want to trade for one. I plan to not make them into dominos faces but coloured stickers like a 3x3x3.

I would really love to have colored domino to add to my rubiks collection. Are you going to be selling any and how much would they be? If I may asked.

I probably won't sell them. That defeats the purpose, but that's not to say I wouldn't for the right price. Anyway, should wait until some are made first.

It appears I have to buy chemicals here in Ireland in bulk as opposed to Australia.

So I'll probably put the first few puzzles on ebay or best offer. The outlay is going to be around the $AUD600 mark.

Does anyone know if Por-A-Kast 2 and Por-A-Mold is available in the UK? I have found the original Por-A-Kast in two hobby sites, but I need the whole kit. Any leads would be appreciated. I have already located it in the US but want to avoid the shipping costs from the US.

I made a my first proto type of a domino. It is made from a normal Rubiks cube. I used the spilt axes macanisme. I correct mistakes with Milliput.
