i made a square-3 despite the fact some people thought some pieces would be too small. the unfortunate thing is that the people who said this were right. although i think it looks nice it dosnt move very well and thats what really matters.

Wow. I still haven't figured out how to solve the square-1 lol. Probably wouldn't be much harder though. Can you just pair up corner pieces and edge pieces and solve like square-1?

I always thought a sq-3 would have [both] the corners and the edges divided in two from a sq-2

I also solve my sq-2 with pairing the corners and solve like a sq-1

well based on what is a square-1, -2, and -3, having both cut would be a square-4(?) :scrambled:

That's really a new idea!
Are you going to sell it or create more of them?

i will not sell this because i am not proud of the quality, however i plan on selling square-2s. if i find a way to make square-3s so they move nicely and dont have space issues i will be selling them too.

Sort of off topic, but has anyone made a Square 1/2 yet? I figure it would involve bandaging some of the pieces. I guess it wouldn't be all that interesting though, but to continue along those lines.

In my opinion, a square 1/2 is a bandaged square 1 like so:

I think it was done on only one layer.

download/file.php?id=4789

I think that is the same puzzle, so it has almost been made.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
