Hello all,

Due to some comments and suggestions regarding the amount of noise on the board of late, I am trialling some visual changes to help discourage this.

Furthermore, sign up for new members is going to be temporarily removed as a trial. If someone wants to join up, it will have to be by email request to stop fly by night registrations.

We'll see how we go.

I just noticed the friends & foes section. How long has that been there? I see you can send a PM to more than one person now. Oh, how I wish I had that when doing bulk special orders Thanks for the updates. A list of changes would be helpful.

The Friend/Foe option has been around since the initial forum upgrade.

I am not sure if you want to get rid of it, but you can still see post counts here:

No I don't mind a user seeing their own post count. It's the public view that's best removed.

Not keen on posting the change list. The point is to see what features are missed.

I personally liked seeing the person's post count, but I can live without it.

I'm glad the ranking system was removed though.

You know, I don't mind that. I mean, it takes an extra click to view it. So if you really wanted to know if the user posted a lot you'd actually have to do something.

It's not in plain view.

I was just wondering if the URL feature for images will be back.
In the past, it was easy to use html code and resize images.
But now, the board's "img" feature doesn't seem to allow resizing.
(If I am wrong, please let me know!)
