This is mind boggling, I can't even begin to understand how you made that.

Great build! You did a fantastic job. How did you make it haha.

In fact, I do like it--very nice!

Question: the hidden layer under the suspended edges, did you use a 3x3, or 2x2 structure? I'm just trying to figure out what you did here... :)

EDIT: Nevermind, I see it now!

very nice, it looks like a cross between a square-1 and a brillic, but I'm guessing that it solves mostly like a 3x3?

Beautiful. And it's interesting to see those curved insides of some tips to allow the pieces to overlap yet don't expose big gaps.

Wonderful puzzle. I wonder how you came up with this idea though. 8-)

Again an amazing work.
The puzzle in a a whole and also each of the pieces look absolutely perfect.

Since your Brilicube also does not have a (visible) center:
Does it work like a Void Cube then, regarding the possible permutations,
parities, etc.?

absolutely amazing

It seems to work like a 3x3 void cube more than a cubic brillic, doesn't it?

I like it!!! Yeah it does remind me of the void cube. I had a sort of same idea after I received the Aleh Hladilin(a.k.a. Pyraminx Crystal) except that I don't know if it would work or not.

thats really cool! At first the pictures confused me because I thought it would turn like a square 1 since it has a similar look on the surface. Now i see why everyone said its like a void 3x3x3.

It seems a Brilic has dressed up as three Square-1s squeezed together!

Just beautiful.

It sort of reminds me of the idea of an edges-only or no-edges cube, but the way it is constructed looks so elegant. The idea of making each face look exactly like the top/bottom of a square-1 is amazing.

Are the rotation planes curved, or did you leave slightly hollow internals? I can't see from the photos.

An absolutely beautifully executed (mod of 3x3?) puzzle. It would be impossible not to want one!

I wish I could even aspire to such skill!

Really nice mod there Aleh, as always :D
This mod also perfectly explained how I think how an even order minx would turn, maybe the techniques used here can be applied to the minx?

Thank you very much for yours nice comments.

TheCube: I'm guessing that it solves mostly like a 3x3?
Frank Tiex: Does it work like a Void Cube then, regarding the possible permutations,
parities, etc.?

It solves like a Void Cube. Two edges or two corners can be switched.

Blade740: How big is it? Small enough to use normal square-1 stickers?
Square-1 and Brilicube have same size but different angles, I don't think you can use squere-1's stickers.

Marco: Maybe the techniques used here can be applied to the minx?
Why not? :)

Like all the best ideas. Very simple, but very, very clever! I just can't imagine how you thought of the idea how it would be done!

How thin is the (unseen) plane connecting the edge core to the edge surface? What is the tolerance between that and the "points" of the corner pieces?

So does every twist have to be a double twist?

I had also had this idea, and i had a drawing of it but could not figure a way to turn it in my head.

So, I am wondering... you could do pretty much the same thing to a megaminx, right? So maybe you COULD make a megaminx mod that looks exactly like a brillic but turns like a void megaminx! That would be pretty awesome, especially if it was right next to a brillic...
