your taking your time solving that gigaminx, aren't you? cool teraminx, but you could have let that other guy make his first because he has said he was "building the worlds first teraminx".

The other guy didn't seem to be making much headway.

When I get it stickered I'll do that. I need to take it apart and do a tiny bit more sanding, but it actually turns just like an eastsheen now!

Wow... I had the impression that this project would take months!
And here it is in full glory!!! Congrats!

Regarding the mechanism, the shape and size of some small parts,
the pillowed look, and the total size, did the V-cube provide
any inspiration? LOL

Again, congrats! I wonder what is next now!

:)

I think this puzzle still have some of its power left!

I think it will be a total shock when we see this fully stickered and then fully scrambled! That will be a  !

I couldnt be more happy for you Drew! Super nice work!

its not that the v-cube inspired the mechanism, while it is in fact using it, it also seems that this is the only way to create such a higher order puzzle in a stable manner

the pillowed look was also done because I didn't want the outer layers to be obviously thicker than the other 2

Thats a awesome builds you have there(3/4). So do you think your going to go do higher order Megaminxes?

I gather you don't care for small puzzles. :D :) 8-)

Man I love to have each of those.

P.S. I know where to get the V-cubes. :P

unbelievable

Wow. It is absolutely amazing

(a) That this thing turns at all, but even more, that it looks like it will turn pretty well with a bit of work.
(b) That you work SO quickly given you have so little time
(c) That you are building stuff like this even though you are (relatively) new to building

Great job. I am in awe.

It would be great if V-Cubes started to make the Gigaminxes and Teraminxes.

Well, first we have to get drewseph to sell the designs to Mr. Verdes. Then we need to convince Mr. Verdes that these will sell to support the company.

Or Mr. Mefferts?

You took the words right out of my mouth but I doubt it will happen.

I see! A V-minx in some way LOL :)

And I guess some of the V-cube pieces were ready to use,
while other pieces had to be carefully made to fit with the
Teraminx concept. Of course to do this, someone should
have grasped the V-cube mechanism. Not easy at all!

Who would have known that a Teraminx could exist so soon!
Congrats again Drew, I hope you will be able to produce a few!
(and that I can get one of them LOL)

:)

I feel that any word of appreciation may not be enough for such a masterpiece! :o

It really belongs to another class of puzzles: I think that it could be only compared with the 7x7x7. And that's enough said, I think :P

*applause*

Are them handmade or with a machine?

I finished stickering the thing in less than 2 hours. Pre-cut shapes really speed the process up! ( most of tonight was reassembling my gigaminx1.5, too impatient to solve, and I wanted a pic with all the minx family)

That said, new pics and video being uploaded to new topic soon!

yeah, just got back from vacation. Got a brand new set of 2 gallons of resin, 2 pints of rubber to finish redoing the molds and away it goes. (That sounds way too easy  )
