i know you people can make custom puzzels could you make a 5x5 with 3x3 cubes or will that be too big to make or use has to be good quality

this is my third try to post a response to this, and i really hope that three responses aren't posted. As a result i'm not goin to go into any detail, its not worthit for the third try.

Yes it can be done however currenly I would use 3x3x3 cubies, and you need a lot of them. So this puzzle would not be cheap to make. So does any body know how to make 3x3x3 (black) cubies that is cheap to make. And I do not want to use milliput or dice.

A good possibility would be the cutting of plastic pieces with a machine. I know that it functions (a friend of mine has machines and does such works). The eventual problem is to find a person or a workshop that can do it.

Yes that will do, but where can I get a black plastci rod? I can only get transparent.

I think Tyler (sum1else) had some plastic cubes made for him to extend a 5x5x5 to a 7x7x7 or something like that. He mentioned that his source for them was quite reasonably priced. You can either ask him or check the previous postings here at the Twisty Megasite. I think it was about a month or two ago.

it cost me $0.20 for each acrylic block (5x5 size)
I contacted them yesterday about solid blocks for the Mental Block. Sandy has the same ideas i do: glue on, and then cut down. They wont give me a price over the phone or email though, and i dont really want to hook up my dad's fax machine. They will ship anywhere in the US, i dont know about international, But they do use UPS so i cant see why they wouldnt
