Ok. im serious about molding my own plastic now, im trying to locate an online place to buy Por-A-Kast 3, and polyurethane and a chemical mask.
Clay i can get in a store.

Now, i want to buildup the UFO to a cheese.
I have 2 options:

1. make an addon that glues on top of the UFO parts to make it look like cheese.
2. Make all new pieces (except mechanism)

Now, my question is, can i put a pigment in the poly that will fully color it? or will it just be a tint. And, how can i color it afterward?

If it was me (and it will be soon), I'd be biuild a single new piece from an existing ufo slice and adding milliput around it to make a cheese slice.

Then use the final handcrafted piece as a master to mold from to get all 12 slices. You will have to be dead accurate in your handcrafting.

As for the PAK3, I'm having a lot of trouble pigmenting PAK2, and from recommenations by the other lads here, my next tryout will be smooth-on.com resins because the bright pigments that can be added.

It's not that PAK2 can't be coloured, but it takes a lot of effort to get it to mix in well in the short amount of time. PAK3 should be more forgiving but I don't know for sure.

I have been told to use coal dust as pigment for pak2 instead of the standard black pak2 pigment.
