Can you make different shaped pieces?

Does the attractor need the shape to be regular for the forces to be balanced in some way? What I mean is, can you make shapes like the 3x3x2 which arent regular solids?

There is also a nice icosahedral puzzle (the second one on the list). Could these puzzles be made with the attractor?

Truly I am new to puzzling, there are too many puzzles which I never played (some I never even heard of it).
I am not sure if the Magical Attractor can do what specified work, but I think that just like computer programming,
if you know the function and the parameters of a verified subprogram, then you can include it in your main program,
not need to understand the detail of the subprogram.

The function of the Magical Attractor is ¡V
can be put on the FACE of any non-magnetic article, the article will attract any ferrous materials ¡V
including iron, magnet (no matter which Polar is facing out), and the article having the same material on its face.

The parameters may be
(1). The size of the Magical Attractor (to be designed) you want.
(2). The places you want to put the Magical Attractor (for connecting other objects) on.

The first Magical Attractors I made were put on two sponge cubes (size: 5cm x 5cm x 5cm).
