cutting plexi isn't cheap. get a jigsaw for large pieces. for small pieces try a dremel tool.

What kind of cuts are you talking about? If they are large enough and simple you could use a table saw. Can I ask what you are building?

I need to cut 3/4 inch squares.I am building somewhat of a cube in a cube.A useless thing that i would love to accomplish.A mini cube inside of a glass cube, and they both spin with eachother.Understand this at all?

Sounds like extending a keychain to a normaly sized cube, like in some article about cuboid transformations that frequently pops up here.

But from what I get it you are supposed to mak the outer parts seethrou, right?

Any miters on the squares? I tried to some really small ones but its fairly hard on a table saw. What I thought about trying (but never tested) is sandwiching the plexi between some 1/2 ply so that the small pieces don't go flying, and help minimize cracking. I would suggest using a table saw since you are cutting squares. If it were more complicated you would be better off with that cutter posted earlier.

Let me know how it goes. I would still like to pick up the project I was working on.

I've tried the acrylic cutter, however it takes a while with my work space.I will get a thinner jigsaw blade i suppose. And yes this cube is baseically a keychain cube with an outter layer that is plexiglass and see through with the edges of eahc piece stickered to the color within.I wondered originally if it is possible to have some sort of extender to pull out a glass layer and turn it and restore the layer in a new orienation. So after scrambled it will be like solving 2 different cubes. The outter cube and the inner alike. It seems too difficult to attempt so i will stick to this for my first build ever lol.
