Hey, does anybody know how to create a mastermorphix. I know that it is created from a 3x3x3 mechanism but I don't get how the pieces are made. This might be my next build but I'm not sure how to build it. Thanks.

Are you asking what each of the peices should look like? Pink's page has pictures in the Drawings section. Or are you asking how to build up and cut down the peices? You can fill cubies up the resin or epoxy and cut them down. You can build them up by applying miliput, or by cutting thin pieces of plastic and gluing them on. I'm sure there are more ways to do it too.

Can you after words, post every single piece (Minus multiples) because I'm really interested in this mod.

Yea, the problem is I don't have the first two of the three.

My 3x3x3 broke ages ago and I still haven't bought a new one, and I've never had a pyramorphix, and I at least have some free time. :P

Post pictures so we can help out? If we see it, it might be easier.

I'm also looking at the image right now of Greenhill's one in the database. I'm wondering something too...

[EDIT] Never mind on that last bit.

Anyways, how did you make those four corners?

Build a collum (sp) [Rectangular Prism] straight out then truncate it? Just an idea.

Nitro13: How big is this puzzle compared with the ordinary cube? Did you extended a half truncated cube or did you extended the entire cube?

Way up above there are someone mentioning "pink's page", what's the url to that, might be fun to look at the illustrations that are said to be there...

nitro13:
I just thought of one thing about this puzzle...
I guess it is kind of hard to see this when you have stickered the puzzle but would you say that parts of the original cubies can be seen during turns?
Question comes from the idea that one might use magic cubes from Eds thinkshop, but wouldn't be fabulous if plastic of different colour were seen during turns...
