I guess Jaap would be the best person to answer this one. I have done the first 3 (took me a few hours). Now, i am prepared to do the rows of 6 as seen here on twisty. how might i go about changing what is supposed to be 6 tiles long to being only 3 tiles long?

try going to hessport.com. Go to their rubik store. Find the D.I.Y. Section (Do It Yourself Kits) and download the realplayer video with all the instructions. It can be hard to get by the accent the women decribing the assembly has, but this patttern can be used to set up any size puzzle.
