Another Mastermorphix

The Mastermorphix #2 is finally finished. Are you guys still interested? I have a couple of new photos. There are a couple of "new" shapes. This puzzle was made from a cheap Rubik's cube knockoff, pyramorphix tips and Black Milliput. It is coated with clear enamel and de-glossed with 0000 steel wool.

I have seen pictures of one of these that has been truncated (corners removed) Based on your experience, would a cornerless version be anymore difficult to make or do you think it would easier.

Probably the equivalent of six full days.

Dodd: Truncated, without corners: I think you could use the flat pieces of a Pyramorphix in place of the Pyramorphix tips. It would be about the same effort to build. You may have another idea that would be easier.

So you never did tell us, did you use Jin's method for joining the cube corner to the stellated pyramorphix tip? This is by far my favorite custom puzzle (except maybe pyracue) and I've never even touched one. Once again very impressive job.

looks awesome Carter!. how many of these have you built? seems like it takes some time to finish them, nothing you can POP out in a weekend
