I 've just been on holiday on the Isle of Wight (between England and France) and whilst I was there I made some not-so-complicated mods, as I did not want to take all my modelling stuff with me.
Here they are:

Nice! How did you make the Edges Only cube without all your "stuff"?! Did you using plastic sheet to make the pieces?

Excellent work, Vadim! That's a wonderfully cleaned up and professional looking master cuboctahedron to have only used the bare essentials of modelling supplies and equiptment. Very cool looking edges only cube too!

Is an edges on ly cube exactly that? Remove all the corners and extend the edge pieces? Could you verify that.

Thanks

Has anyone made a cubohedron from a 5x5x5? I know jurgan brand has, but has anyone on this site?

Thank you all,
Sorry, I must have mislead you. I did all the messy work at home, though never had time to finish the cubohedron or the Edges only cube. I only took sticky vinyl, scissors, knife, sandpare etc. to finish them off + make the Silver edition of the path cube from scratch. Though that did not require much effort...
I did use black sheet plastic for edges only cube Sandy. It was fun to make.
Dodd, the edges only cube is litterally all it is. Though you must leave a bit of corner pieces there for the cube to work. You either file the corners down or like in my case: I cut the inner bits off and inserted the corners from the key-chain cube instead, if that makes sence.
Now hopefully I will manage to finish the 3x3x3 flat octahedron I started...

Vadim

Very very nice. 3x3x3 is very clean, so's the cubohedron.

Outstanding. I really like this Edges Only Cube. Vadim, what do you use to glue the sheet plastic? Does anybody know an Internet source for sheet plastic?

Carter,
I always use the superglue. It's instant and it's strong. I did sand the connecting edges of plasic to 45 degrees first though.
