I just finished developing my solution for a 2x3x4 cube. I used a taped 4x4x4 to simulate this puzzle. The taped 4x4x4 does not behave exactly like a true 2x3x4 in that some 90 degree turns are possible. While solution of a true 2x3x4 is pretty simple, if you treat this puzzle as bandaged 4x4x4 and get it well scrambled, it is really tough. In my opinion, this is the hardest puzzle I have solved, beating former champs bandaged cube and fused 4x4x4. If you want a puzzle challenge, get out a 4x4x4 and some masking tape and crayons and make one of these.

I have also just created a website: (http://www.geocities.com/jdjabberwock/PuzzleTalk.html)
It is my first attempt at a website and is very much in the creation phase, but I have posted several of my solutions, including the 2x3x4, and hope to add more content soon. Please visit. In the immediate future, I plan to continue to study 4x4x4 mods and post solutions as I develop them.

Someone asked me to make all the 4x4x4 mods for them a few years ago. I made everything for him except a 2x2x2, a 3x3x3, and a 2x2x3 from a 4x4x4. He came up with solutions for them and solved them all. He really didn't want to share his solutions publically, but I was amazed that he could solve them all. BTW, If I were to do it, I would make them a little nicer than just masking tape and crayons. It doesn't take much to make them look halfway decent.
