While I was in Japan, I had the pleasure to meet Katsuhiko Okamoto at his shop in Matsuyama. You can read more about it here...

Carter,
Excellent research!
Thanks for asking our questions which otherwise would never have been answered! I envy you, that you met the master + held his real puzzles in your hands! (like "Master pyraminx") If he does not make any more jigs, I don't think many of us would be able to lay our hands on one either!
I hope he gave you some freebies or samples...
Vadim
P.S. I am surprised that "Mental pillow" is not included in his website's products. It looks great.

That was a great read. Thanks Carter. I would be nice to own a master skewb someday too.

Thank you very much in getting the those other 3 puzzles for me and those white cubes for everyone also to :D :) 8-)

I love the article. I hope someone buys his puzzles and them mass produces them all legaly of course!!!!!

Wow!!! Do you know that this almost didn't happen. Look at link below. Thank God it did, you didn't give up the fight with spam, adware, spyware, and viruses.

Carter, do you know if Okamoto has been in active communication with potential manufacturers, or are those just idle thoughts for now? I sure hope he is - the master skewb wins my vote for 'hand-made puzzle I'd most like to see in mass production' hands down.

Also, did you ask him if he can solve all of his own creations?
