The mechanism of Type 9 is probably impossible to pop, so I designed a 5x5x5 around it.

I do so like your 5x5x5 designs. I think you would find the responce here more favorable if you waited till you had at least some of your designs printed and tested before you presented them. But I must confess I'm the odd man out and I really like these images. Still they could be presened with a finished puzzle every now and then.

I understand this is version 2 of your 5x5x5 but what is Type 9? I see you call your versions of 3x3x3s Type 0 up to a Type 6. Looks like you say your Type 3 3x3x3 was your original 3x3x3. Can I ask you to define "type" in the context you are using it? I'm confused... sounds like Type 3 = Version 1. Have you shown your Type 9 3x3x3 if that is what this is designed around? I couldn't find it.

Carl

Type 9 is a prototype cube which I now use as my main speed cube. The pieces are similar to the E-Skewb with springs in the edges. I will present it when I have a black version.
