Edit 2013: Here's my new Lego 2x2x3, just for fun. Sorry for bump.

Sorry for my English.
Some additional info:
- 800 pieces used
- 3 failed prototypes over the last 2.5 years
- yellow and orange 6x6 plates are hard to get
I built two ff Lego Rubik's cubes, a 1x2x3 and a 2x2x3.
You can view the design in 3d - or even rebuild it - by downloading the "Lego Digital Designer".
I started building the 1x2x3 some weeks ago and tried to make it as small as possible. The finished one has a cubie size of 6 nubs per side. I then build a second, unproportional but smaller 1x2x3 and made a 1x2x2 of it.
The 1x2x2 has just been extended to the 2x2x3.
The 1x2x3 turns very well and is "fingertrickable", the 2x2x3 is really big(8 nubs per side) and much harder to handle. It locks because of the many pieces inside. But compared to the 3x3x3 I found in the Internet both cuboids are great.
I will post a video soon...
Edit: The 1x2x3 has not been completely uploaded yet.
