We just started learning CAD, and i thought i could print out extensions for the hexaminx i want to build. i've seen the material of the schools 3d printer, and its pretty sturdy. does anyone have a file of any extensions for making the hexaminx (parts to glue on to the megaminx) or can anyone help me. i'm using the software 123d beta at school :/

Since Tony Fisher is the rightful "owner" of the puzzle, and it is on his list of "do not copy" puzzles (well, not for sale anyway), you will have to ask him if this is OK (but I doubt it) You could design your own extensions of course, using 3D CAD ...

Aren't Tony's wishes just about copying the puzzle to sell or swap for personal gain? If awesomecuber is making it for him or herself I can't see why Tony would have any issues with it, unless I'm missing something.

yes, i am building it for myself, it just looks so cool,i must have it and epoxy is hard to work with

@rline: you are right, that is why I said ""do not copy" puzzles (well, not for sale anyway)". Of course he can make his own copy for his own use, after all I did. But awesomecuber wanted someone to send him 3D designs for the extensions. I suppose I could give him my design, so technically I wouldn't be selling the Hexaminx, but I don't think that this would be in the spirit of the TP forums "respect the inventor".
