I am new to modding and I am sure that many others are as well! I am currently working on my first mod which is a half-truncated cube and so far it is going great. What are some other common mods that are best for beginners? At first I would like to have an idea of what I'm doing before I stat coming up with my own stuff. (P.S. sorry if I was wrong to post this or something! Not entirely sure hah)

a hexagonal dipyramid is fun to make.. you might also want to consider the fused cubes and evil twins and even the pillow "cube".

a proportional 3x3x5 is rather easy too using a crazy 3x3x3 and some extra cubies, and the end result is pretty nice.

A barrel cube is fun, if you have the materials.
Also, for your first couple of mods, if they turn out nice, make sure you buy nice stickers.
