I really wanted to design a puzzle, to cut out on my schools laser cutter. However they only accept 2D Design files, but I havent got 2D design software. So I made what I wanted on google sketchup. Could one of you amazing people be able to convert my google sketchup file into a 2D design file, or remake it into 2d design? Thanks very much in advanced.

Are you able to export it as an EPS? If not, I think the only way would be to have it recreated. I could try to recreate it in Illustrator.

Exporting to DXF would likely work too.

For future reference, AutoDesk 123D has functions specifically for that...and it's free!

Thanks for all the replies, I've tried using autodesk 123d, I'm so confused! I can not do this!

For all of my laser cutting work I use Inkscape which is a free and very good 2D vector program. I have to export through .eps and import into CorelDraw as that is what is used by the laser cutter, but it has worked well for me for years.
