Hi guys. I am currently making a half truncated cube with a mini diansheng. I want to tighten it A LOT so I can do some finishing touches with sandpaper (if it's loose, it will pop like crazy). Even with an electric drill, no matter how much I turned the screw and try to tighten it, it just wouldn't get any tighter. Has anyone here had the same experience? RW031

Take some adhesive tape to fix.

Before sanding, fix the faces using ordinary adhesive tape, this will work better than trying to lock the pieces using friction and brute force alone.

No, basically if you are sanding one part of the cube, tape all of the other parts/faces to stop the cube from moving, then start to sand. As you need to sand the other parts, just add/remove tape as necessary (or even sand part or the tape).
