Ok...don't know why but I'm really slow at learning everything I need to know for SolidWorks. Now that I've finally finished, I can actually get started on this puzzle: http://twistypuzzles.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=262493#p262493 (I'm still not going to use the word "Kilominx". )

So I was watching Tom's video on constructing these cuts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpzWqlTtpN4 . In the last bit, there was some talk about filleting and how some tricks must be used to overcome the filleting problems.

I've tried many times but I just don't see how I can get over it. Any suggestions?

I sketched the cross sectional profile of the fillet I wanted, and the used the extrude cut feature. It mimics a fillet, but does not cause the problems you were talking about. Its not a perfect solution, but I used it on my redi 3x3 as well as my deceptiminx.
