Hello, here a rendering of the 4x4x4 tetrakis hexahedron we are working on (+ more others) for quite some time,
I hope you like, We are currently evaluating how much amount of manual labor will need this puzzle,
is expected to be a hybrid of 3d print and manual labor.
Well, I hope to publish it in solid form as soon as possible.

hello to all i have some question before printing this puzzle:

Shapeways applies tolerances to pieces have to be printed?
In your puzzles projects yuo have used tolerances?

If they are only addons you need no tolerances, but big fillets !
Are you sure you don't want to make this off of a regular 4x4 ? I think it's even possible without extending.

If i understand well, fillets are 1mm thick, project is a cover for a regular 4x4x4, i tried to make it by hand but cut was too deep, I thought
to make a Hybrid handmade / Industrial but I finally decided to do it entirely printed, excluded the cube because I am not yet ready to design a cube from its foundations.

for the rest I hope you enjoy it even if it is a small and humble work , nothing to do with fanta-mega-projects
that we are accustomed to see published in this fantastic community.

I typically like to use somewhere between 1mm and 1.5mm on edges that are either on the surface or connected to the surface (since those are visible, too). Inside the puzzle, I make the fillets nice and big if I can. I think I used 3mm fillets on some of the internas of the Fractured Madness, and it turns beautifully.

Looking forward to seeing this stickered.

Hello to all,
the puzzle has been completed, this is my first puzzle printed in 3d, and as the first experience I must say that I was fully satisfied,
unfortunately I have not been able to order a set of stickers, so I was forced to cut them by hand, however the result is excellent (for me);
as regards the work of shapeways, I'm happy with everything except the service of "polishing", i'm too accustomed to my hand polishing,
if I have to name the service would call "less porous" Obviously this is my first puzzle is therefore also possible that something was wrong by me;
ok in a few minutes i will publish photos and video in the new puzzles area, But first I have to eat so:
