I really need help out of your personal experiences. What, in your opinions, are the strongest, sturdiest mini 2x2's?If you could provide a link, that would be Super! I need a strong one as a core to make a new puzzle of mine as my knowledge of 2x2 cores are very limited. Thanks already everyone!

I think that the title needs to be rephrased. What is the only Mini 2x2x2? The answer to the is the Mini Eastsheen 2x2x2. There is at least one KO of it, but I would imagine that the quality is the same, if not inferior to the Eastsheen.

Is it good enough to function as a core? or will it break too fast?

Most hand built puzzles are based around the Mini Eastsheen 2x2x2, and a few 3D printed ones are. You should be fine.

There is at least one KO of it, but I would imagine that the quality is the same, if not inferior to the Eastsheen. I have bought both the mini-ES and (accidentally) the KO version. While the KO version isn't terrible quality, it is clearly weaker and I would not recommend building a puzzle on one. Dave

I've used Eastsheens 2x2's in many of my puzzles. And thinking of the weight and mass that's put on the tiny parts of the 2x2 it is an amazing puzzle to use as a core. Most of the times I don't even bother looking for a mech, I just go for a 2x2 from the start of designing. And the best part is that my local hobbyshop located in a barn less than a mile across a field from me sells them
