 Post subject: Master Skewb HD (on going project)

hello to all,
today I started to cut this puzzle, in this post i will show some steps,
i hope you enjoy.

Photos
1-desing cut,gluing body,body cut; V
2- cleaning and improving the shape; V

3-coating (1mm white polistyrene sheets);
4-repairing cutting faults;
5-rubbing internal surfaces (P 800);
6-elimination of edges joining (P 400)
7-polishing external surfaces (P 800)
8-beading (creation of the radius) (P 400);
9-polishing of the radius and the surfaces of all pieces (P 1200);
11- body finished (polishing P 2000/4000 +/-)

An axis cube from a Master Skewb has already been made but no Hexagonal dipyramid. Strange.

Not surprising indeed. I made the axis master skewb without actually cutting it into HD first, since that seems too deep of a cut, so I made much shallower cuts and extended it into cubic form. If I was to make a HD, I'd do the same shallow cutting and extend it.

Hello, is a great way to do it, my compliments, but from my point of view, extending the puzzle would not be a pure HD shape derived from Master skewb but rather an extended HD Master skewb;
