I did a little instruction and a few photos of the build process:

It's impossible to insert one of center pieces to a hole because of printing error (Shapeways' fault). But you can easily correct this by a sharp knife. You should enlarge the hole a bit and cut end of center piece. Or you can make the hole and the "fist" oval (see photo), it's easier for me to fix the details like that. But be careful with using a knife, you can easily cut more than you need! And then the details won't hold up.

I recently ordered some of your 10mm cubes from Shapeways and ran into similar problems. The holes are too small to fit the peg of the center piece. But apparently drilling the holes larger with a 2.0 mm drill makes them large enough to fit the peg, although I still had to press it in a bit sideways. I got lazy with the coloring though and used nail polish, wasn't even that careful when applying it. And it works. I've got rather big hands so turning it is already a bit difficult, but I've managed to scramble and solve it several times.

Do you turn it with your hands, or do you use tweezers?

I might get a micro puzzle (since they hardly use any plastic and are therefore quite cheap), so I'd like to know.

Also, do you think we(I) could get instructions on how to safely assemble the micro minx in a way that would it allow it to turn smoothly?
