I am looking for the source of small springs and balls similar to those used in Meffert's puzzles. On one hand, I lost a couple while trying to do some things with a puzzle, so I'd like to find a replacement. On the other hand, I do need these for mods. The balls are 4mm metal balls, and the springs have approximately one coil per 1mm, and are about 6mm in length. These are approximate sizes, the ball however is well measured. I tend to think in metric system sizes, I am sorry if someone has to translate! Thanks!

Try the springs from a pen! You need the spring that returns the button not the one near the nib. Some are the perfect size. Waste of a pen though!

Yep! That's what I did to replace the springs that I lost. However, I'd like them in bulk, I don't like wasting that many pens! :^)

Contact a pen manufacturer like BIC. They may be happy to sell you something. Always worth the asking.
