 Post subject: cubes locking up

I got a new DIY cube and it wont stop jamming. I tried loosening and tightning it. I don't know if I should sand the inside or not.

Maybe it was something to do with the order of assembly.

what do you mean? I don't think that assembling the white side first rather than another color effetcs performance

the problem isn't in the centers it's just taht the cube locks up a lot. even when I make it exrta loose.

Should I sand the parts of the inside?

no don't sand yet. look over all the pieces and see if there are any
deafects in them.

The looser the cube the more it locks up.

I think the "centers" question might be the right one. In this order put the following on the screw: washer, spring, washer, center cubie.

Be careful sanding off flash. Don't sand much beyond that (you shouldn't need to) because you can end up with different size cubies.
