I am stuck for some reason and I cannot get my mind around it. It's probably very simple too!

I can always get all but the last two cubies on my 2x2x3 solved.

They are usually swapped. What is the best way to consistently swap these two?

is it just two pieces that need to be swapped?

put those two pieces on the back-bottom and try this alg....

It actually does a lot of things - meaning Adam showed it to me to help me solve a super cube 4x4x4 - for the centers. But I use this method as well for solving the 2x2x3.

Actually, while it's slow for speedcubing, it can be used for and 2x2xN cube as well. (finally got Scott's 2x2x6 solved consistently).

uhm, I have not a 2x2x3 cube but I think that for example...

(R2 D R2 D')x2 R2 D A (R2 D R2 D')x2 R2 D A2

interchanges 2 cornes (UFR and UFL)

Jaap's page has some solutions for the domino. Yes I know that's a 3x3x2 and you need 2x2x3 help, but if you look at that on how to solve the corners, then you can usually figure out the center layer pretty easily.


I actually relate the 2x2x3 to the Square-1 a lot. I use an algorithm on both puzzles. I separate the corners into their layers and use /(0,3)/(0,-3)/(0,3)/(0,-3)/ but any of the algorithms here would help you.

good thought. I will also try that one out. The first one posted worked perfectly.

Even though I don't have a 2x2x3 or a 2x3x3 I'v tried it on a normal rubik's cube (3x3)
and I think that the 2x3x3 is easier.

Yes the alg that i gave to reeeech is the best alg for almost any cuboid. i have used it on 2x2x3, 3x3x2, 3x3x5, 4x4x5, supercube 4x4x4 mods. it definetly has come in handy. hope it helps everyone. I cant take full credit though, i learned a similar alg from Jaaps site and modified it for the 2x2x3.

i also have relearned it so that the 2 pieces that need swapping are on the UFL and UFR. however the first moves are on the left side and i dont like it, so i mainly use the original one.
