you turn it where 5 triangles make a pentagon, and also where the 5 larger triangles make a pentagon, does this make sense?

Lubing:
Take it appart completely, but make sure you understand the structure and can reassemble it.
Spray all the larger black pentagon shaped pieces of the core then reassemble.
Turning:
The tips of 5 small triangles spin as well as the 5 big triangles. If you need a video, just ask.
Popping:
It is not really meant to be speed solved. Now if the mechanism is too tight and twisting it causes the screw to come undone, you need to slightly sand down the spring.
Any other questions?

I know how to *theoretically* turn it... I've done a solve on my puzzle, which included three (!) pops, one of them major. But the real question is, how do you turn it when it doesn't want to turn? For example, if I want to do a big turn, but it won't (and all the pieces are visually aligned), is there any way to make it allow the turn? Has anyone here played with their Dogic enough to know if it will stop locking up after a while?
By the way, you know those little black pieces with the hooks that go between two dimpled triangles? What direction should the hook face?
EDIT: Yeah, I think my puzzle's too tight. I'll have to go sand down the screws a bit.

the hooks go in towards the screws, they should fit pretty snug once you pop them in
as for twisting, I usually just go in the opposite direction and then try to tiwst it more the right way, it usually fixes itself eventually
i apologize if this was a terrible description

Eh, you want to lube it and loosen it A LOT. Otherwise it'll just pop over and over.

All of the pops I've had are because one piece is pushing on another in a way it isn't supposed to, and the pushed piece breaks out of the puzzle. I guess that if you lube the mechanism more you won't have to deal with that because the pieces will slide by each other... but I don't know.
I'm going to try to take it apart and lube everything today.
