Someone mentioned NMCMLL. That is what I use (when I feel like solving).

Gilles and I made a page for it. Yes, it is a lot to memorize. Still less than Fridrich.

Link Removed

If you have questions about something on the page, I think it would be best to ask Gilles. I don't cube much anymore (though he doesnt either). When I do, it isn't for speed, it's to solve intuitively for fun. I got tired of the competition of cubing (like any sport).

For the average number of moves. Using NMCMLL yellow/white on L/R, an average of 42 is pretty easy when speedsolving.

Something else, for step 4 when using NMCMLL it takes lots of practice to get used to but once you do it is very fast (especially if you use a few of the unconstrained center edge orienting tricks).

EDIT: Link removed until Gilles is finished commenting and adding it.

You saw it before I removed the link?

Thanks. Took a long time to make. It was about 4 months of work trying to find very good sequences (plus optional ones), finding the connection between Gilles' original table patterns and mine at the bottom, completely remaking Gilles' table to add the codes and the missing cases Gilles didn't add since he stopped working on it, and adding the comments in the third column.

Just don't repost the link please :)
