I've been playing with an applet for a 3x3x4 cube, and I always seem to run into a parity where I need to swap certain thing, and if I play around with it, it changes what I need to fix.
I.E. UF-UB edges -> uFR/dFR-uBR/dBR
Am I just making a stupid mistake repetitively, or is there actually a parity?

a 3x3x4 is nothing more then a domino (middle layers) and then a domino (outter layers). solve the inner domino and then solve the outter domino. its not that hard. you can also simulate it on a 4x4x4
edit. if you are getting just the UF and UB edges then you have to swap one of the inner centers (Front centers) they are in the wrong place giving an outcome that is not normal to a domino.

That must be it.
Thanks.
