Anyone here interested in speedsolving the Alexander's Star? I just got a couple of sub-4-minute solves (UWR...) and I know I can go faster, but I'm wondering if anyone else has solved it (or, even better, solved it for speed).

If I had one with paint instead of stickers I'd give it a go.

I've never been happy with the way that puzzle turned. It seized up too often for my taste. Have you done anything to yours?

mine does not turn even once before being so tightened up that it is close to breaking.

Didn't do anything to mine (except lubrication, of course) but it seems to turn very well.
(I can bring it to school on Monday, Tim. Try to bring your Eastsheen 4x4 too.)
It's weird how, even though this puzzle is (more or less) equivalent to the Megaminx edges, it's harder to complete this puzzle under two minutes than the Megaminx is.
