I am using the speedstacks timer, the cube is in my hands, not on the table, and my hands are on the timer, akward starting postion, but good time.
.15=20turns a seoncd!!!!!!!

in 1 second, i could do 20 moves, so for only 3 moves, it would take me...
darn you are right...
i really really thought it was 20 turns a second, never the less, what is your fastest?

i tried this R' U R U' I was able to do it 3 times in 1.00 seconds flat. i can do it 6 time in 2.14 was my fastest. thats 12 moves per second for the first one and just under 12 for the second one.

Wow... nice. They have a whole section in the Unofficial World Records for most turns in a minute - Adam, you should do it for a minute and add your record there. Sounds like you could do up to 720 moves/minute... my record is a pitiful 340.

exactly what i thought, but now that i do the math it is like 3 seconds at 20 turns a sec at 1 sec...idk...but i got 20 somehow!

scotts right you get tired after 1 minute of continuously moving your fingers. i tried 1 minute and got somewhere around 600 moves. i was tired though and my cube locked up a bunch towards the end, probably because i was tired

you did 3 turns in .15 seconds, therefore 1 turn should take .05 seconds (.15/3=.05). .05 is 1/20 of a second, so you were twisting at a rate of 20 turns a minute.

The math I'm doing is:
100/15 = 6.67. He did 3 turns in .15 so do 6.67 * 3 = 20.
