i got a new 3x3 today

it is from walmart, out of the box, it really wasn't bad!

it didn't look anything from what it does on walmart.com

it is like my 25th anniversary cube, but a little bit tighter.

and seeing a cube with new bright fabulous stickers like burned my eyes.

so, i have my heavily lubed up core from my crap cube that is broken in and good...and my new cube, which is kinda tight, and not broken in...

hmmm?

so i switch cores...the cube is amazing, nice stickers and sooooooooooos smooth without lube!!!!

i lubed it up with some pure silicone i got today, it is drying now, lemme go to my room and check it out! i think i put to much on though...

I just lubed it with silicone, it is crazy awesome...i wish i could tune the spring tension down a little, and lube it a little more, but what would that do? cut me off like 2 seconds, o wow, seeing that i am like 45< it won't make much of a difference.

and ya, once i memorize all of the f2l and LL algs i will get a really good cube but for now, this is great...

and i think the stickers are PVC!!!!!!!!!! awesome!

After a week, those wal-mart stickers will be very worn down. But yeah, wal-mart cubes can be very nice, if you find the right one (some are very tight, some loose). I'm using a nice wal-mart cube right now, until I get my DIY cube in the mail. I got my PB (34.4 secs) with it the other day

im doing well with my walmart cube too lol. with lube, they can work really good.

but luckily, i have a white diy cube shipping to me and should be here any day this week. already got my textured tiles in the mail
