Just tell me when and I'll be online. It's sad that there's usually nobody.

Bleh, needs a custom keymap tool. I never use my middle finger in cubing except for gripping. And it needs M.

Yeah, customizable keymap would be nice. But those keys *are* good, if you ask me. Turning R- and L-faces with middle finger is a really good idea, it's easy to get used to. Of course it's different irl, but it's impossible to perfectly simulate all turns using a keyboard. You can do M, but you need to press two keys at the same time.
PS.
I changed my nick

I'm assuming the best time would be around 10:30 AM EST. It covers practically all of the populated world, right?

ok, this is the second time i've heard about this sim, and it sounds spiffy. so what is this all about? and how do you have a multiplayer cube??
finally, there are keyboard controls? that would be soooo much nicer than all of those annoying java cubes that you need a mouse to play with (it takes forever)

It may take some time to get used to the keyboard controls, but they are really very nicely done. I still wish B and B' were available, but even without them my online times have passed my real cube times by quite a bit. Very fun!
The multiplayer "challenge" version is http://www.ryanheise.com/cube/speed/
I only ever see sub-20 cubers in there so I've almost given up on it. If "cube night" takes off and I can compete with people as bad as me, I'd love to get into it.
