I'm sure you've all seen this video but it is cool. I'm amazed that it doen't come apart when he tries. I think he is afraid to mess it up. My first and only 6x6x6 solve was 59:57.75. a long time. it was 1004 moves. :D

I havn't seen that before. Can't wait to play with one. It looks more smooth and loose than my 5x5.

Yeah, that was the first vid of a functional 6 that I know of, and was released a while ago, but has since been taken off the OC site and replaced with the more impressive ones of Frank Morris doing a solve on one. I believe the one shown in this vid is also an early prototype, and many improvements have been made since. Rumors say the cubes are now being perfected concerning the mid-cut of the cube (layers 3 and 4), which has always been somewhat of a problem on even-cube design.

Here you got a picture of all the pieces, and of the cube dissassembled

It's amazing, I have no words to describe it!

Do you have a picture of the pieces in a great big pile? it would only take an hour to sort them back.

Yes. But I guess some people hadn't seen these shots before, so I figured I'd share :)

They were posted here but they must have been removed:

On the bright side I noticed that NEWCUBES now has an avatar picture; a partially disassembled 7x7x7!
