i have just worked out how to solve my tetraminx and i want to know what sort of times i am getting, how many turns constitues as mixed up and what sort of times do other people get?

Like, I know the pyraminx can be solved in 13 steps or less from anywhere.
Therefore I would expect the tetraminx to be possibly solved in 9 steps or less from anywhere. So when you do the 10th step it should get you closer to the solution again or not change the anything. Unless you turn the same part 10 times in a row of course.^^

I just solved my pyraminx a couple of times with tips not mixed up. Takes me about 20-30 sek. Yeah when I bought it that was more because of interest, the challenge of figuring it out and because of its look. The only things I actually "speedsolve" are 3x3 and 5x5. Sometimes my skewb.

ive been gettin 36 s (every time) and ive just figured it out, i get 14 for a lucky solve though,

so about 15 turns to mix up?

When I mix up puzzles like this, I do until no colors "line up" anywhere anymore. Its kinda impossible with a 5x5x5 I noticed but with pyraminx it works. But I can kinda understand the question. So booooring to mix up. There should be an official number of moves, so that we don't do more than necesary so we can solve it already.

Like i just solve the "tips" of the tetraminx first, so that same colors show up on the sides and than put the edges in by "turn in, bring out of the way, turn back and put in place" procedure.
