I didn't expect this from hexaminx: one edge flipped? How is this possible? I can assure the rest of the puzzle is solved.

This is a case that comes up because one of the symmetrical edges in the middle of the face is oriented "incorrectly." You just need to orient that edge along with the incorrect one.
