It is a hybrid of a cube 4х4х4 and cuboid 4х4х5.

How to scramble this cubic 4x4x5 II.

Step 1. Side 4х4 in height in 0,5 element - top.
In the any order we alternate turns of a layer U and algorithms of rearrangements of the dual angular and dual edges of layers (Uw). Periodically turning a cubic 4x4x5 in space on an axis Y. Algorithms of a cuboid 4х4х5 here are applied only (either return algorithms or mirror algorithms). For example:

a) F2 (R2 Uw' L2 Uw)*2 F2;
b) F2 (Dw R2 Dw' r2)*2 F2;
c) F2 (Dw R2 Dw' l2)*2 F2;
d) (R2 Uw2)*2 R2 Uw (R2 Uw2)*2 R2 Uw';
e) [(R2 Uw)*2 (R2 Uw2)*2]*2 and any others;

Step 2. Side 4х4 in height in 1 element - top.
In the any order we alternate turns of a layer U and algorithms of rearrangements of the dual angular and dual edges of layers (Uw) (algorithms of a cuboid 4х4х5 either return algorithms or mirror algorithms). Also we use algorithms of 3-cycles of piece rearrangements of edges and angular elements of a side 4х4 in height in 1 element for a cube 4х4х4 (either return algorithms or mirror algorithms):

Here again is not forgotten periodically to turn a cubic 4x4x5 in space on an axis Y.
At rearrangement by 3-cycles of edges and angular elements, they also will be developed on a place;

Step 3. Side 4х4 in height in 1 element - top.
We scramble among themselves central elements of average layers of sides 4х5 on the following algorithms (either return algorithms or mirror algorithms):

a) only between opposite layers - on algorithm similar to this:

b) in the any order between the next layers:

It is possible to rearrange steps 1, 2, 3 by places!

Step 4. Any of sides 4х4 - top.
We scramble a cubic 4x4x5 on algorithms of a cuboid 4х4х5 - extreme layers parallel to the top side rotating as dual - Uw and Dw and all vertical layers we turn on 180 degrees;

Step 5. We create visual effect "of the completely stopped puzzle". For this purpose we turn layers of height in 5 elements on 90 degrees in the party of a side 4х4 in height in 1 element and is alternated with perpendicular turns.

Thus it is possible to make 5-6 turns a maximum.

How to solve this cubic 4x4x5 II.

Step 1. We get rid of visual effect "of the completely stopped puzzle". For this purpose in of a return sequence we turn layers of last step of scrambling of a cubic 4x4x5. It not so is difficult;

Step 2. Any of sides 4х4 – top.
We rotate extreme layers parallel to the top side as dual - Uw and Dw and algorithms of a cuboid 4х4х5 is solved "CAP" on a side 4х4 in height in 0,5 elements. All elements of a side 4х4 in height in 0,5 elements are correctly focused also them more easy to find by a sight. The centre 2х2 of an opposite side 4х4 thus will solved automatically.
"CAP" is solved so:
а) to solve 4 central elements;
b) to solve edges;
c) to solve corners - as on a cube 3х3х3 at solve of one side;

Step 3. Side 4х4 in height in 1 element - top.
Completely solve all central elements of average layers of sides 4х5;

Step 4. Side 4х4 in height in 0,5 element - top.
a) we double on colours at first angular elements of sides U and u:

And then edges elements of sides U and u:

b) we rearrange already dual elements, and completely we solve layers U and u by the same method, as at solve "CAPS" only in the correct order;

Step 5. Side 4х4 in height in 1 element - top.
a) after solve of the dual side of height in 0,5 elements is restored (if necessary) all central elements of average layers of sides 4х5 - with the help of simple algorithms in 4 turns or in a difficult situation - algorithm given in section " How to scramble ..."( a Step 3, item а));
b) to solve stayed of edges elements of average layers of sides 4х5 - with the help of simple algorithms in 4 turns, or algorithm:
(R2 Uw2)*2 R2;
c) by algorithms of 3-cycles of piece rearrangements of edges and angular elements is solved "CAP".
The basic algorithm of turn of two corners with which help is possible to solve any situation:

And for an example two algorithms of fast turn 3 or 4 corners, which are possible to not remember:

Example of turn 2 edges with the help of 3-cycles:

d) we double on colours AT FIRST angular elements, then of edges elements of sides U and u.
Example of difficult rearrangement cross-wise two pairs edges:

e) We rearrange already dual elements and completely we solved layers U and u - algorithms of solving of a cuboid 4x4x5.

ОК. THE CUBIC 4x4x5 II IS SOLVED!!!
