I was just wondering if this case is possible on the Curvy Copter, or if I just placed a piece in wrong when I reassembled it. Thanks in advance for the help!

Yes it is common.
Turn the puzzle so the green face is on top and the mis-oriented corners are at front top.
You should have the two green stickers on the left and right faces now.

Do (F R L B R L)*2 - assuming all turns are on the top face!

It works for 3 & 4 corners too. You just have to do it twice.
