I've seen a pattern on the crazy 4x4 III where there are six circles interchanged the way one would on a 3x3.

My question is: is it possible? I've tried solving it for that position, but the inner corner pieces match the color of the edges. The inner circle is yellow, but the corners on the inner circle are blue to match the surrounding edges (the same applies to the other faces.)

Is it a possible position or am I missing something? If I'm missing something, please clarify. I would really like to be able to solve it into that position.

Its not possible to make 6 circles on a crazy 4x4x4 typ III, i think.

The best is to make 4 circles around and top and down a pattern.

The reason is the geometry that ainner corner belong to a outer edge.

On crazy 3x3x3 plus ( 8 planets) Its possible to make 6 circles.

There are crazy 4x4x4 typ III puzzles on mefferts site. There are assembled in this way i think.
